things still needed for Light the Night..........

bearing your cross.......
I got this emailed to me and i thought it was so good i had to pass it on. Thanks Agi:)
Awesome!! We complain about the cross we bear but don't realize it is preparing us for the dip in the road that God can see and we cannot. Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
there will always be sunshine, after the rain....
Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall;
But God's always ready, to answer your call....
He knows every heartache, sees every tear,
a word from His lips, can calm every fear...
Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night,
But suddenly vanish, by dawn's early light...
The Savior is waiting, somewhere above,
to give you His grace, and send you His love.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!

political joke.
I thought this was funny.............My stepmom sent this to me.
Getting A Parking Ticket The other day I went downtown to run a few errands. I went Into the local coffee shop for a snack. I was only there for about 5 minutes, and when I came out, There was this cop writing out a parking ticket. I said to him, 'Come on, man, how about giving a Retired person a break'? He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. His Insensitivity annoyed me, so I called him a 'Nazi.' He glared at me and then wrote out another ticket for Having worn tires. So I proceeded to call him a 'doughnut eating Gestapo.' He finished the second ticket and put it on The windshield with the first. Then he wrote a third ticket when I called him a moron in Blue. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I talked back To him the more tickets he wrote. Personally, I didn't really care. I came downtown on The bus, and the car that he was putting the tickets on had One of those bumper stickers that said, 'Obama in '08.' I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm Retired. The doctor tells me that it's important to my health

confessions.......
ok so i have to get a few things off my my chest. and i only do so because i need the prayers of my readers and i just need to be real about my feelings. I want you to know this is very general and has happened over my lifetime and i do still struggle with this today. Thank God that i can know that i dont have to impress him. Just love Him.
I know that i dont have the best personality, i have a had a lot of issues this last year , tend to say the wrong things and have horrible timing. I have always been the person who has the ignore me, unpopular or tease me target on my head. I feel like have a lot of friends but i also feel like i am just a face in the crowd and if I leave town or something no one would notice or miss me. I have tried to fit into so many different "cliques" only to feel like the outsider. I have felt snubbed on different occasions and just clearly left out. I was always the unpopular one and the one teased about everything. I hung out with people a lot older or younger than myself, because im not sure why but i was just not accepted by my own piers. I am not trying to be negative, I just thought i would be real in figuring out who i really am and what my real purpose is. I have been praying through a lot of issues in my life in trying to get closer to Jesus. This one of my bigger ones i am working on. Thanks for listening.

is it so hard?
I wrote this a while ago when i attempted to blog on myspace.
I just read it and i dont remeber what was going on when i wrote it but it sure did inspire me today so here it is.
is it so hard to live a life of worship? is it so hard to realize that we are loved beyond comprehension? Is it so hard to not only know who we are but whose we are? I we purpose in our hearts to stand on the Word of God and use it, No devil in Hell can defeat us. We can stomp on his ugly head and command him to flee. God loves us sent His Son to die in our place. He is the King of Kings so that makes us an hier to the throne. 1 peter 2: 9-10 We are to walk in that power use our sword and live a life worships him. Think of the Power in that. It is hard because we are in a war. (3For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons.4For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, 2 corinthians 10: 3-4)Satan is a liar, He wants us to get our idenity from anything but Christ. so to combat him and war against when we study the word, live in an attitude of worship and take every thought that comes to our head captive and make obedient to Christ( 2 Corinthians 10:5) and listening to the Holy Spirit> Its not easy to live in that. it is spiritual warfare. it i s a consious eveday minute by minute choice we make! I pray peace strength and love over each one that reads this!God Bless~

Proverbs 3:5-7 (New King James Version)
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

WONDERFULLY BROKEN...
This weekend we went to the leadership conference at our church. can i just say wow. God is so amazing. I went expecting to really just kindof learn some to become a more effective leader but i got so much more. i attended Dena's session "Women in Ministry" She spoke about mary and martha. I so needed that. It is easy to get totally involved in so many things and just forgot to lay down at the feet of Jesus. In our time of prayer i really was seeking direction and provision when a dear friend came and just prayed with me. It was amazing, I said nothing to her and she prayed out loud what i was praying to myself. She gave a few words of wisdom as well and well i guess just lost it. I was so wonderfully broken for rest of the day and truly feeling so loved by my Father. On Sunday Pastor Adam spoke about truly living the first commandment and then the second commamdment in that order. I seriously thought for a while was the only person in the room. Pa also spoke on sunday night about taking our position and accepting our position in Christ. He talked about the butterfly and challenged us to spread wings.
It was absolutly beautiful.
Today i have say i just abolutely Loving God.
i subscribe to a weekly newsletter that sends scriptures for the week.
Here they are:
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord is the Rock Eternal. --Isaiah 26:4
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. --Psalm 63:1
I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed -- I, and not some foreign God among you. You are my witnesses," declares the Lord, "that I am God." --Isaiah 43:11-12
It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. --Deuteronomy 13:4
Listen to advice and accept instruction and in the end you will be wise. Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. --Proverbs 19:20-21
Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalms 62:8
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. --Proverbs 3:5-6
This came with One of the scriptures as well and it really Hit me.
Almighty God, teach me your ways and help me discern your paths for my life. I have so many plans and schemes, but I know if they are not from you, they will not stand. Lead me to your wisdom and I pledge to you that I will not only seek to know it, but also seek to live it. Through Jesus I pray. Amen.
